Noor al-Dhikr does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Most of your settings and content are stored safely on your device.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application includes:
- Local Storage Data: We store your app preferences, selected themes, active Arabic fonts, zakat details, bookmarks, and custom Dhikr counts directly on your device using Hive local storage.
- Location Information: With your permission, we collect your device's geographical location coordinates (latitude and longitude) to calculate accurate local prayer times and Qibla direction. This data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Payment/Subscription Details: When you purchase subscriptions (Go Premium) or donate, transactions are processed securely through Google Play Billing (Android) and Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). We do not collect or store your credit card or financial information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected via the Application to provide you with the best possible service, including to:
- Calculate exact local prayer times and display the correct Qibla compass direction.
- Process in-app purchases and track active subscriptions to remove ads.
- Send prayer alarms and Adhan notifications.
- Analyze app performance, troubleshoot bugs, and improve user interface design.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to display advertisements to non-premium users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage statistics for personalized advertising.
- Firebase (Analytics, FCM): Used for crash reporting, notification delivery, and anonymous usage statistics to monitor app stability. We do not use Firebase to sync or store your personal identity.
- Google Play Billing & Apple App Store: Used to complete billing transactions securely.
4. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
All of your settings, preferences, and bookmarks are stored entirely on your device and are never sent to or stored on our servers. This data remains on your device until you clear the application's storage cache or uninstall the application.
Requesting Data Deletion: Because we do not upload or store any of your personal user data or account credentials on our servers, there is no database containing your personal information to delete. You have complete control over your data and can delete all stored preferences and bookmarks at any time simply by uninstalling the application from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Noor al-Dhikr is a general audience app containing religious educational materials, prayer tools, and stories. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have accidentally collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
